You're not against each other. You just don't have the language yet.
If you and your partner keep having the same conversations, the same misunderstandings, or feel like you're missing each other even when you're both trying... you're not doing anything wrong. You're likely stuck in patterns that haven't been named yet. 

This workshop is designed to help you name them, understand what's underneath them, and give you something you can actually use.
We'll dig into three patterns most neurodiverse couples know well:
  • "You're not on my team" — why one partner feels unsupported while the other is genuinely confused, and how neurodiverse communication plays a role. 
  • "We keep having the same fight" — because it's usually not 20 different problems. It's 2 or 3 patterns repeating and we'll help you identify yours. 
  • "I don't feel understood" — the double empathy gap, why problem-solving can come from care but still land wrong, and what to do instead
What you'll leave with:
  • A name for the pattern, not just the symptom so you can stop arguing the surface issue and address what's actually repeating 
  • A nervous system lens so you can understand what's happening without turning it into blame 
  • Language and scripts you can use in real conversations 
  • A support menu with three clear options that replace the guessing, so you can ask for what you need without expecting your partner to figure it out.

Dr. Tay and Dr. Ali are both licensed psychologists who specialize in neurodivergent families and couples. Between them, they bring clinical expertise and personal lived experience and a shared belief that supporting the parent relationship is central to supporting the whole family.
